AEW Secures TV Rights Deal with Fox Sports Mexico

With AEW’s new TV rights agreement with Warner Brothers Discovery set to launch in January 2025, attention has shifted to other potential partnerships for the promotion. There has been much speculation about a possible collaboration between AEW and Fox, with rumors suggesting a new TV show titled “AEW Shockwave.” While the status of that deal remains uncertain, AEW has confirmed an unexpected agreement with a Fox station.

In a press release shared on X and AEW’s website, Fox Sports Mexico announced a long-term TV rights deal with AEW. This agreement will feature “Dynamite,” “Rampage,” “Collision,” a new program called “All Elite Show” airing on Monday nights, as well as all AEW pay-per-views. The deal is set to commence this Saturday with AEW WrestleDream, though a specific start date for AEW’s regular programming has not been provided.

Fox Sports Mexico, a premium television station, has been broadcasting WWE programming in Mexico since 2014, including shows like “Raw,” “SmackDown,” “NXT,” and “Main Event.” However, WWE and the network will part ways at the end of this year, as WWE transitions all of its international programming to Netflix under a new rights agreement with the streaming service. It remains unclear whether AEW programming will debut on Fox Sports Mexico before WWE’s departure or if it will wait until WWE’s exit to start airing AEW content.
