WWE continues to secure talent, including former stars, with Legends contracts.
According to PWInsider.com, Armando Alejandro Estrada is the latest name to sign a Legends deal. Estrada was with wrestlingnews WWE from 2004 to 2012, working both as a manager and later as the General Manager of ECW.
Estrada is best known for managing the late Umaga before transitioning to a role in WWE management. After being released in 2008, Estrada returned in 2010 for a brief two-year stint but was rarely seen on TV. Following his WWE career, he hit the independent wrestling scene but retired from in-ring competition in 2013.
Estrada joins other WWE legends like Jacqueline, Jesse Ventura, The Headbangers, Mick Foley, Victoria, The Godfather, and The Dudley Boyz, who have all signed similar contracts. These deals allow WWE to use their likenesses for various purposes, such as video games and merchandise, while still allowing them to work with other companies.
