Mercedes Mone Expects Big Things From This Fellow AEW Women’s Division Star

Cameron, who made her AEW debut last year, is quickly becoming a standout in the women’s division. Despite only having her first pro wrestling match a year prior, she was already making waves, initially appearing in the QTV group with QT Marshall. Trained by former WWE star Tyler Breeze and AEW alum Shawn Spears at their Flatbacks Wrestling School, Cameron’s rapid progress caught the eye of Mercedes Mone, who has been impressed with her work ethic and enthusiasm for learning.

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Mone praised Cameron’s dedication and rapid adaptability. “I’ve been a fan of hers for a long time,” Mone said. “I’ve trained with her at Flatbacks Wrestling School for the past two years, and to see how quickly she adapts to new techniques and constantly seeks out opportunities to learn has been so refreshing. She’s incredibly hard-working and trains multiple times a week at different wrestling schools across Florida.”

As AEW’s TBS Champion, Mone has high expectations for Cameron’s future. She believes that within the next year, Cameron will reach new heights in her career. “I know that within the year to come, we’re going to see her grow like never before,” Mone added.

Since her AEW debut, Cameron has made appearances on AEW Dark and has since worked on major shows like AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision. She’s faced top talent such as Thunder Rosa, Kris Statlander, Dr. Britt Baker, and Jamie Hayter, continuing to impress fans and peers alike with each performance.
