Konnan Makes Bold Suggestion About Tony Khan And AEW’s New Media Rights Deal

In a yet-to-be-officially-confirmed development, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is rumored to have secured a new media rights deal with Warner Bros.

Discovery, reportedly valued at approximately $170 million annually. However, former WCW wrestler Konnan suggests that this figure falls short of AEW President Tony Khan’s initial ambitious projections.

Konnan remarked on the “Keepin’ It 100” podcast, “That’s significantly lower than the billion-dollar figure Khan had been touting. I wouldn’t be surprised if the actual amount is closer to $120 million, with Khan potentially contributing some personal funds to avoid any negative perception.”

The reported deal is expected to span three years, with an optional one-year extension if both parties remain interested. Additionally, AEW’s exclusivity with WBD may change, as there are rumors of discussions with Fox regarding a new show titled “Shockwave.” However, official confirmation remains pending.
