Chelsea Green Reflects on Unbreakable Bond with Michin Despite Rivalry
Despite their on-screen clashes, Chelsea Green has nothing but praise for her real-life connection with Michin. In a recent interview on “The Wrestling Classic,” Green shared how their friendship was forged from her earliest days in the wrestling world, even as they now find themselves as adversaries in WWE.
Green looked back on her first televised match, which was against Michin at a TNA Knockouts Knockdown pay-per-view. At the time, Green was new to the industry and unfamiliar with the intricacies of working a TV match. Michin guided her through it, leaving a lasting impression.
“She held my hand through that experience,” Green said. “From then on, we’ve just had really good chemistry. And you don’t always have that with people. But her and I just have this weird, unspoken telepathy in the ring.”
Even after Green’s rise to becoming WWE’s first Women’s United States Champion, and despite Michin handing her some hard-fought losses, the mutual respect and natural chemistry between the two remain. Green described their in-ring dynamic as “weird” but undeniable, calling it a rare connection that persists every time they share a ring.
