On Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray shared his thoughts on the moment, highlighting how it symbolized a firm declaration of Triple H’s leadership and vision for WWE’s future.
“Planted a Flag” for WWE and Triple H
Bully Ray emphasized the importance of this moment in the context of WWE’s evolution, saying it represented a definitive and unstoppable force in professional wrestling.
“WWE has just put their flag firmly,” Bully Ray said in a post on X. “If you didn’t think it was in there strong and firm before, it is cemented in as of last night. This company is bigger than it’s ever been and it’s unstoppable at this point. The only people that can stop WWE are WWE.”
Ray went on to further explain how Triple H used the moment to establish his own personal dominance over the company, declaring that it is now his vision taking center stage.
“Triple H firmly planted his own personal flag in the middle of that ring. ‘My name is Paul Levesque. I run this [expletive] ship. This is my show. This is my creative. This is my everything. This is no longer my father-in-law’s vision.'”
