Zilla Fatu, son of the late Umaga and a member of the legendary Anoaʻi family, was recently let go by GCW, raising questions about his future in pro wrestling. However, Booker T, who has been training Fatu at his Reality of Wrestling promotion, addressed the situation on his “Hall of Fame” show. He explained the challenges young wrestlers like Fatu face and expressed his unwavering determination to see the 25-year-old reach the pinnacle of the industry.
“Zilla had an incident with GCW — I don’t know all the details,” Booker T explained. “One side says one thing, and the other side says another. But for me, the focus is on Reality of Wrestling, and I’m committed to getting Zilla to the next level because he’s got the talent. The next level for Zilla is the WWE — that’s where he belongs, and that’s his safe zone, with his family.”
