AEW Grand Slam Adds Jack Perry’s Open Challenge for TNT Championship

As the match cards for AEW Grand Slam on both “AEW Dynamite” and “AEW Collision” continue to take shape, an open challenge for Jack Perry’s TNT Championship has been announced for the latter event. AEW revealed on their X account that “The Scapegoat” will defend his title in an open challenge at Grand Slam, set to take place at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City.

“Collision” will be taped immediately following “Dynamite” on Wednesday, with AEW promoting live attendance to witness all the action before it airs on TNT on Saturday. Jack Perry himself has not yet commented on the open challenge via his X account, and as of now, no AEW talent has hinted at accepting the challenge.

Perry’s most recent title defense occurred on the September 14 edition of “Collision,” where he defeated Christopher Daniels. Recently, Perry challenged AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson at All Out but was unsuccessful. Perry initially won the TNT Championship at Forbidden Door in a ladder match, filling the vacancy left by Adam Copeland due to injury.

Among other matches scheduled for “Collision” are a Continental Championship Elimination Match featuring Champion Kazuchika Okada against Sammy Guevara, Saraya versus Jamie Hayter in a “Saraya’s Rules” bout, a Lumberjack Strap Match between “Hangman” Adam Page and Jeff Jarrett, and a tornado trios match between The Conglomeration and The Learning Tree. Hologram will also face off against The Beast Mortos and Dralistico, while MxM Collection plans to unveil a makeover of Max Caster’s jacket.
