Roman Reigns Addresses How Often He’ll Be On WWE Raw, Netflix
Roman Reigns Discusses WWE Raw’s Move to Netflix and His 2025 Schedule
WWE Raw is making a major shift to Netflix starting January 6, 2025, leaving behind its long-standing spot on the USA Network. The first streaming episode of the red brand already promises big names, with John Cena and Roman Reigns confirmed to appear. However, there’s still a lot of speculation about how often WWE’s top stars will be featured on Netflix in 2025. For Reigns, who has spent the last four years as a cornerstone of WWE SmackDown, the move to streaming could see him appear on Raw more frequently, as WWE looks to make a strong impact with its new platform.
In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Reigns shared what he knows about his upcoming schedule for 2025 and his role on Raw in the new year.
“I’m not exactly sure,” Reigns admitted. “Honestly, I’m just trying to get to the premiere. I’m on the premiere. I don’t think I can share too much more than that at this point. We haven’t scheduled my exact dates for going into WrestleMania from the Royal Rumble forward.”
Reigns was also asked about the possibility of WWE Raw adopting a more edgy tone now that it’s transitioning from cable television to streaming. While the idea of a more mature product has been discussed, Reigns doesn’t think it’s necessary at the moment.
“That’s something that hasn’t even crossed my mind,” Reigns said. “I don’t ever sit there and think, ‘How can I drop an F-bomb or make a cigar in my hand look cooler?’ We’re at a point where I say the word ‘Yeet’ and it gets a crazy pop. I just don’t see the point or the need for it right now, but if we ever feel that need, then sure, I can make that happen too.”
