Fallon Henley Retains WWE NXT Women’s North American Title, Gigi Dolin Makes Surprise Return

Last week on WWE NXT, Women‘s North American Champion Fallon Henley issued an open challenge, inviting any woman in the locker room to step up and face her for the title. As expected, the challenge quickly sparked interest from multiple competitors, including Lash Legend, Jakara Jackson, Nikkita Lyons, and Adriana Rizzo. However, it was Tatum Paxley who seized the opportunity, attacking Henley from behind to secure her title shot and avoid the chaotic brawl that followed.

On this week’s episode of WWE NXT, the highly anticipated title match between Henley and Paxley delivered plenty of action. Paxley rocked Henley with a 450 Splash toward the end of the bout, but Henley kicked out, showing her resilience. In a pivotal moment, Jacy Jayne from Fatal Influence attempted to interfere, targeting Paxley with a sneak attack while the referee’s back was turned. However, Paxley was ready, countering with a dropkick that sent Jayne crashing to the mat.

With Jayne temporarily neutralized, Paxley looked to finish the match with her Psycho Trap finisher, but Henley evaded the move and landed a Famouser to secure the pin and retain her title.

Following the match, Henley, Jayne, and Jazmyn Nyx launched a brutal three-on-one attack on Paxley. Just as the odds seemed stacked against her, Gigi Dolin made a surprise return to the NXT ring after months on the sidelines due to a knee injury. Dolin, alongside Paxley, fought off Henley, Jayne, and Nyx, with Nyx retreating to the outside.

Earlier in the evening, a brief teaser hinted at Dolin’s return when Jayne maliciously threw one of Paxley’s signature orange-haired dolls to the ground. Paxley, unfazed, warned Jayne that “your past will haunt you,” a likely reference to Jayne’s shocking betrayal of Dolin last year.

With Gigi Dolin back in action, the NXT Women’s division is sure to heat up in the weeks to come.
