Match Recap:
Jon Moxley puts his AEW World Title on the line for the first time since AEW World’s End. Hobbs earned his title shot last week by winning a Casino Gauntlet Match, and he was determined to prove himself against Moxley. The match started off with intense back-and-forth action, as Moxley and Hobbs exchanged strikes and power moves. Hobbs was able to land a spinebuster and delivered a series of devastating moves to Moxley, even using interference from his Death Riders stablemates to keep the advantage.
After several hard-hitting exchanges and near falls, Moxley managed to retain his title after hitting Hobbs with a Paradigm Shift, pinning him for the victory.

Kenny Omega vs. Brian Cage
Match Recap:
Kenny Omega made his return to AEW after a brief hiatus, facing Brian Cage in a highly anticipated one-on-one match. The two immediately went at it, with Omega using his speed and technical ability to counter Cage’s powerhouse offense. Cage dominated much of the match, throwing Omega around with ease and utilizing his strength to keep Omega grounded.
Omega mounted a comeback, landing several V-Triggers and finishing Cage off with the One Winged Angel after a thrilling exchange.

After the match, the Don Callis Family – Kyle Fletcher, Lance Archer, and Konosuke Takeshita – came down to attack Omega, leading to a chaotic brawl. Will Ospreay made the save, fending off the Family and helping Omega get the upper hand for the moment.
Women’s Casino Gauntlet Matc

Match Recap:
The inaugural Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match saw several of AEW’s top women battling it out for a shot at Mariah May’s AEW Women’s World Championship at AEW Grand Slam: Australia. Kris Statlander started strong, dominating her opponents with a mix of power moves and high-impact offense.
The match saw impressive moments from all the participants, including a brutal suplex by Jamie Hayter and an explosive crossbody from Willow Nightingale. Statlander, however, proved to be too much, eventually overcoming her competitors and securing the victory with a Falcon Arrow to earn her championship opportunity.

HOOK vs. Christian Cage
Match Recap:
HOOK sought revenge on Christian Cage and his Patriarchy stable after they attacked his father, Taz. The match was filled with hard strikes and intense brawling. HOOK controlled much of the match early on, but Christian Cage used dirty tactics to turn the tide, even getting interference from his allies.
However, HOOK fought back, and after a series of big moves, locked in the Redrum submission on Cage, forcing him to tap. The victory was marred by further interference from the Patriarchy, but HOOK’s resolve was clear.

The Hurt Syndicate vs. Private Party & Mark Briscoe (Trios Match)
Match Recap:
In a high-energy trios match, The Hurt Syndicate – Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and MVP – took on AEW World Tag Team Champions Private Party and Mark Briscoe. The match featured constant action, with Private Party’s high-flying offense taking center stage against the brute force of Lashley and Benjamin.
The Hurt Syndicate took control late in the match, with Lashley delivering a brutal spear and Benjamin hitting a German suplex to seal the victory for their team.

MJF vs. Jeff Jarrett – Promo Segment
Promo Recap:
MJF and Jeff Jarrett exchanged words in a heated promo segment. MJF mocked Jarrett’s career and legacy, claiming he was a “one-hit-wonder” compared to his own success. Jarrett fired back, stating that his best years were behind him but that AEW reignited a passion for wrestling he thought was gone.

Samoa Joe Makes His Return
