Bayley emerged victorious in a fast-paced, hard-hitting Fatal Four-Way match on WWE SmackDown, earning the title of number one contender for Tiffany Stratton’s WWE Women’s Championship. The match followed an interruption by former champion Nia Jax, who disrupted Stratton’s celebration. This led to Bayley, along with Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Naomi, stepping into the ring to challenge for the title. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis quickly made the match official, setting the stage for a chaotic contest.
Throughout the match, the three women focused their efforts on taking Jax out of the equation. One of the biggest spots saw Jax attempt to lift Bayley for a Samoan Drop on the ropes, but Belair and Naomi intervened, sending Bayley flying across the ring. The trio then worked together to hit a flurry of high-flying offense, with Naomi landing a split-legged moonsault, Bayley hitting a flying elbow, and Belair delivering a 450 splash. Despite their combined efforts, they couldn’t pin Jax.
Candice LeRae came to ringside to support Jax, causing further chaos. At one point, she grabbed Belair’s braid, causing the tag team champion to accidentally whip Naomi with it. This distraction gave Bayley the opportunity she needed, and she successfully hit the Rose Plant on Naomi, securing the victory.
In a backstage segment, it was revealed that Bayley will face Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship next week in Bayley’s hometown of San Diego, California. Fans are eagerly awaiting this highly anticipated showdown.
