WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry Discusses Pro Wrestling ‘It Factor’.

Mark Henry, the WWE Hall of Famer known as “The World’s Strongest Man,” exemplifies the elusive “it factor” in professional wrestling. His commanding physique, magnetic presence, and exceptional skill made him a standout in the ring. Recently, Henry joined the “Huge Pop” podcast to explore the essence of the wrestling “it factor.”

“A lot of people dislike those who possess it,” Henry noted. “Those with ‘it’ often make their presence known before they even enter a room. Once they arrive, it can be about striking visuals or a unique appearance. They may be exceptionally attractive or have an impressive build, like Braun Strowman, who resembles a giant ogre.”

Henry elaborated that the “it factor” is a complex quality, integrating various traits that can differ from one individual to another. He pointed out that while some elements of the “it factor” may be physical, others are more intangible, rooted in the performer’s personality and charisma.

“Occasionally, you encounter someone who embodies it all: the look, the sound, and the confidence. They exude a self-assurance that communicates, even if I stumble, I still triumph because I had the chance to be myself. That’s who I seek out; I tell them they’re destined for wrestling.”
